Merete Jorgensen
Merete J Consulting
Education: MSc in Mathematics and Statistics, Aarhus University 1982, Diploma in Drug and Device Development 1992, Copenhagen International Management Institute, and MBA in Management of Technology, Danish Technical University 2002.
Merete started her career as a Biostatistician at Copenhagen University from 1982-1989. From 1989 she moved to the pharmaceutical Industry, Novo Nordisk A/S, from 1992 to 2004 she was heading up a Biostatistics function. From 2004 she became involved in the new and fast-growing area of clinical transparency as Senior Director for Clinical Transparency.
She has been an active member in the DIA Clinical Trial Disclosure community, being part of the leadership team and also part of the program committee for several disclosure events since 2006.
From 2016 to 2022 she was involved in the Transparency group of EFPIA, being the transparency pillar lead from 2019 to 2022.
In 2022, Merete retired from Novo Nordisk A/S and is now running her own part time consultancy business, Merete J Consulting.
